New site: workshop news and reviews

I am in the final stages of building a site that may be of interest to you.

Photographic Workshops Info ( http://www.photographicworkshops.info).

The purpose of this site is to list and promote photo workshops of all types.

The site came about due to frustration I had in searching for workshops to attend.


The site is ready to accept listings, both of directory listings, as well as individual events.

Once there are listings, and a few software tweaks are performed, we will start our ad campaign to inform potential attendees about the site.

Come on in, take a look, list your information in the directory, post your events, and let me know what you think.

It's just my opinion, Glenn, but I think you ought to put a similar message in the main forum, where more people will see it. Ask Rolando if you worried about violating rules - which I don't think it would. You're not promoting a specific workshop, you've created a resource about workshops.

Let's see what type of response it gets here.... or if one of the moderators things it would be OK in the main forum they could move it..

BTW what did you think of the site?
Once it gets going do you think it will be useful?
