Hello from the long lost desk of Mark Daughn.....

I have just returned from Costa Rica doing a shoot for the wonderful Luana Lani, what a pleasure she is to work with.

While I was there I had some time to ponder teaching and drink a little wine. Hard life I know...... sitting on a beach in Costa Rica drinking wine and thinking just after shooting Luana. Well you know someone has to do it and I think I may actually be good at it.

Friday May 16

On Location Shooting Workshop

10am - 6pm - $700 per person limited to 10 participants, two models TBA

I am offering an "on location" shooting workshop. You will have the chance to shoot at an actual location that Mystique Magazine would shoot on. I will set up, light and explain 6 sets. Best of all, you will be shooting two of the top working models today. This is a day packed with shooting, so you will undoubtedly leave with some absolutely killer images. Some of these shoots will include nudity. Lunch is included.



Saturday May 17

Photo shoot Etiquette Do's and Don'ts, Discussion Panel

11am - 12 noon - $50 per person, no participant limit

This will be a panel discussion all about the inner secrets of a photo shoot. Get a chance to hear things from a model’s perspective. Learn how to communicate with the model. Find out how to avoid any of the potential problems you can have. Got a question you’ve always wondered about? Bring it on. This one is a must attend. Panel members are: Luana Lani, model 2 TBA, Holly Randall. I will participate and moderate.



Tools of the Trade - Be prepared for any situation

1pm - 2pm - $50 per person, no participant limit

I shoot all over the world and regularly faces situations that are most photographers’ nightmares. I will show you the equipment I uses to face and overcome these challenges. We will spread my equipment cases out and let you see everything I travel with.



Shooting Session 1 - Two models TBA

5:30pm - 7pm - $200 per person, limit to 10 participants

Shooting Session 2 - Two models TBA

8pm - 9:30pm - $200 per person, limit to 10 participants




Sunday May 18

Lighting - A basic three light setup

1pm - 2pm - $50 per person, no participant limit


This is the core lighting setup in the industry today. Learn to use this setup correctly and you will be amazed at the control you have. I will cover it all from theory to set up to shooting. I will also demo a shoot with model Luana Lani.

Digital Workflow - From beginning to end

I will take you through the process step by step from shooting all the way to the final image. I will break down the workflow that I use to manage a library in excess of 400,000 images. This one is crammed packed with info.
