This Sunday, July 11th, we will have the first in a three part series on Video Production. Each workshop will be a full day session. It will run from 10:00AM to 4:30PM with the entire day spent learning and video taping.
Session one will be held this Sunday at So. Cal. Pro. Models' studio. Subject matter will be understanding video and video lighting, blocking out a scene, basics of camera movement, techniques for being an effective director, storyboarding a scene and executing a project. The goal will be to produce a complete, five minute video by the end of the.
Mina, shown in the image, will be modeling throughout the day and will be the subject of the video.
Session two, being held at a date to be announced in August will be taught by Grammy Award Winning Director, Ivan Nagy. Ivan will take the five minute video we shot Sunday, expound on it and show you how to make it into an award winning show.
The final session, to be taught in September, will go into Video Editing.
This is an imersion class to be taught to a small group. We are targeting only six participants but there will be an absolute limit of ten students.
Because of the small group size and the need to hire a model for the whole day, the fee for this event is $150, however if you attend the Celebrity Glamour Bash on Saturday, the fee for Sunday is only $100. Mina will be availabel for still photo shoots if anyone wants to work with her after the workshop.
This class will not be repeated this year. If you want to learn to use a video camera effectively so you can join in the trend to put video on your website, this is the workshop for you.
