You have to excuse me for being remiss, but I haven't updated the site yet. We had a busy event on Saturday and we did API today. By the way, congratulations John Baie. He had his largest event for a long time and it was a particularly good one.

Anyhow, onto this weekend. I had intended to skip this weekend because of the holiday, but I have had a number of requests to put something on (bored bachelors mostly I think). In any event, we are doing the first of a three part series on filmaking.

On Saturday, we are having an all day event. It will run from 10:00AM to 4:00PM with lunch on us (and no, it is not going to be pizza). It is the first of a three part series on making successful videos.

Part one will be an introduction to filmaking. I will be teaching an introductory course on the basics of making a video. It will include script writing, story boards, break downs, scene blocking and basic film/camera work.

We will have a live model, Mina (not the girl pictured), will shoot for a five minute pretty girl video.

We will tape throughout the day. You are welcome to bring your own video camera or use ours while you are there.

We will be shooting at this session, but not editing. I will retain the tape from the day and during the coming week or so, edit it into a complete five minute show that each participant is free to use for promotion or on their website. This seminar does not include editing.

We will follow this up with another all day session in August put on by Ivan Nagy. Of course, Ivan has directed twenty-two movies for network television, has directed both Chips as well as Starsky and Hutch, has directed theatrical features and created the successful series The Hitchhiker. Ivan will take filmaking to a step, way beyond what I can teach.

Again, with Ivan we will spend the day retaping our show, taking it up to the next level of quality. We will again edit it for the group and each participant will get a copy they can use for promotion and on their website.

By the way, these videos will be edited with titles and credits meaning that each participant will get producer credit they can use on their resume'.

The third session, in September will be a day long seminar on video editing. That will complete the triad giving you a good, basic understanding of filmaking.

I will have this up on the site by Tuesday morning but this is your chance to get the jump.

The daylong seminar is priced at $150 and limited to a maximum of ten students (but targeted for only six to eight). This workshop will not be repeated.

A formal announcement will be made tomorrow or Tuesday after the site is updated.

Also, on the 13th, we will be changing the workshop to a mini celebrity Bash. Playboy Cover Girl, Nicole Woodruff will be back, but this time she will be doing sexier things at the Bash, including some topless and will be available to book FULL NUDE SHOOTS afterwards. This is the first time she has ever done a workshop nude.
