Hi everyone. Hope you're having a great holiday time. I'll be on/off the forums the next few days, as we go in real, realy early tomorrow to the hospital for the delivery of our newest daughter--name to be announced (grin).

Regardless, I hope everyone will have a great Christmas. I'm having one already, as today Jerry Avenaim has agreed to co-instruct my upcoming Los Angeles "Glamour, Beauty and the Nude" workshop.

If you don't know who Jerry is, check out his website with Halle Berry on the front--he's got credentials like no other photographer has...well a few do, but Jerry brings another "side" to my workshop in LA.

His most recent covers were three of Halle Berry last month, and one of Dr. Phil last month for Newsweek--wow, four cover-tearsheets in one month! What a way to go Jerry.

Oh well, enough bragging about my early Christmas present from Jerry, I hope everyone get's what they asked Santa for, at least that have been good and not naughty--ok, naughty folks can get some too...(grin)...I'll be more active, though sleep deprived after tomorrow...so have a great holiday season... Now that's an event to attend.... a GREAT instructor, rather than a few other "workshops", which offer... well... something else. Congrats on getting Jerry... and congrats to those who sign up.

Jerry is not only one of the finest shooters around, he's got a world of experience in the busines end of the business.
Plus, in my few coversations with him, he's an unbelievably forthcoming person.
In my many years in the news business, dealing with various levels of talent and power, I've noticed that the people toward the top of the food chain treat you much better than do the ones in the middle.
Well, Jerry's proof of that. He's one of those living in the upper reaches, and he's always been an absolute gentleman in dealings with me.
Wish I could afford to drop everything and fly to L.A. for this. Just listening to Jerry would be worth the entire price of admission.

thanks for the kind words...Jerry is great...and I can only hope to catch an "ear" once in a while when he demostrates his lighting techniques...one that is with lights, but no strobes...it's gonna be fun...thanks and have a great holiday season...

Also congratulations on working with Jerry. I guess I will have to attend one of your workshops now to get the chance to work with him since we couldn't get our schedules worked out last summer...ooooorrrr, I could move to LA
