Are you asking how long can one expect the sensor to last?

I'm over 25,000 on the D1X with no issues.

think 300-900+ parties at 3 shots per party 900-2700 x 365 ...328500-985500 plus shots in a year....

That probably will work then I guess.

I would shudder at the thought of doing that editing.

There is an agency here who runs a sort of mass shoot monthly and It had been offered for me to do.

100/120 people a day. I broke down the time, and it was about 3 mins per person. Potential to make decent money was there, if you had the time to do the editing. I cant afford to loose a week a month doing that, money or not.

no that was the crusie ship gig...one photographer and one guy running back and forth to the lab....thay start 5:30 am finish 9pm
