I did a studio shoot today with a couple of models and things went really well. I even got to use my long lens (Sigma APO 70 - 200 MM F4.0) for a couple of great headshots.
One of my models has very beautiful auburn hair and I when I look at the photos I took with my short lens versus the ones I took with my long lens the auburn color in her hair is a lot more predominant and vivid/vibrant with my long lens than it is with my short lens.
The only thing that changed during the shoot was the lens. Now my short lens has a UZ Haze filter on it as a protector and my long lens has a Skylight 1A. Could the filter account for the difference??
Also, on a side note it has been several weeks since I have posted to G1 and I don't see many new postings in the Forums. In fact it appears that RFS and I pretty own the Forums so I have to ask, what gives? Is everyone else shy? Is everyone dead from the neck up? What's going on?? Come on guys, let's make G1 a happening place, start posting!
