Guidance requested for posing.

Scheduled to shoot a very attractive young lady next week. Excellent everything except...well, here nose is a little big...er...wide...and appears a bit "flat". Sure interested in your suggestions. No images to post yet. All help most welcome. Thanks in advance!

Ya gotta get us an image so we have somewhere to start that is applicable. Primarily you can use flat lighting and then draw in thinning contours with make up. Photoshop will allow you to change it completely.

It may look just fine and need nothing.

I believe Steve Martin had the opposite problem in the movie Roxanne, but one solution he considered was makeup as has been suggested already. But the other question is what are her skin tones? If the skin tones are light, then flat lighting may work well. If the skin tones are dark, then flat lighting might not work as well. So, as already suggested, a photo would help. Did you do a test shot of any sort?

One good book that has some good advice on noses in photography is Christopher Grey's "Master Lighting Guide for Portrait Photographers" by Amherst Media (C)2004. See Chapter 4.
