Hi all,
Received a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet for x-mas and still trying to learn it and tweak it to my liking. Question is, whenever I switch to a brush tool in Photoshop, it seems as if the brush size continues to stay very tiny, like the tip of the Wacom pen, as opposed to changing in size when I select a different sized brush. Any ideas or suggestions how to correct this ? Is this a setting in the preferences ? A result of how I am using the pen such as pressure, tilt, etc. ? I would like the brush size to correspond to the size that I have chosen as opposed to how hard I am pressing on the tablet. Thanks !

The problem is not with your tablet but rather the brush setting. Go to brushes and uncheck the shape dynamics box. Somehow this box gets checked and it messes up your brush performance. Once you master the pen you will wonder how you ever lived without it. Good Luck!

Thanks ! I probably would have never figured that out and continued to be frustrated. Otherwise, I am already beginning to see how once you have a tablet, you never want to be without it..just much more natural and comfortable...now if i could just learn how to Photoshop like the pros.....*sigh*

Thanks from me as well, since I also have a Wacom Tablet. That was one of the "little" things that got on my nerves.
