I need to buy a starter set of lights and from everything I read Alien Bees seem to have a good rep.

My question is, from reading all the details on their website I can’t determine if they have some sort of voltage protection like a fuse.

Does anyone know if they are fused protected?

Also, does anyone have any experience with SP Systems Excalibur moonlights?

Thanks

I do not own any Alien Bees but I own 7 other type lights manufactured by the same company. Each is equipped not with a fuse but a reset which is easier to manage. I will add that my experience with their service after the sale has been fantastic. All problems have been handled promptly.

I have some of the B800's. The power switch is a dual purpose switch/breaker. Never had one trip.
