Makeup?

Dare I ask? I know that makeup is an art unto itself. But, for a starving photographer, is there a good powder that can be used on several skin tones? Is there anything on the web that I might be able to read? What about a body/leg makeup? Anything I could buy in a department store?

I know sweet nothing about make-up myself, but you can find some good info on the Kevyn Aucoin website. There is a couple of lessons available and the forums are pretty active from what I can see, you should get a number of responses there. You need to register to see the forums though.

If you have a MUA you use regularly ask them. They understand that you will use them whenever you can but on those instances when the budget or time frame doesn't allow what can you do? That's what I've done in the past. She gave me catalog no.s for some MaryKay stuff and it's worked great. I'd share it with the group but it's long gone.
