Hello -

I have a Nikon D70 and an Epson R2400 printer. Does the D70 support Epson's PIM II technology?

Thanks,
Mike

I do not think so. Probably a mute point since every time you Photoshop an image it strips the PIM data. -Jim

P.S.

Same camera and printer.

Sorry, D70 does not support PIM II. Seems like the camera manufacturers are treating this like a point and shoot camera "feature", which means you aren’t likely to see it on the more advanced pro/semipro models. Epson’s pledge to include it on all future photo printers may change that attitude eventually, but don’t hold your breath.

I think you're right, it does seem that it would be most useful when printing directly from a camera/card with no post production adjustments.

Thanks,
Mike
