Thanks again.

I started out 2006 with a Sigma 24-70 2.8 lens - bought brand new - and was quite pleased. Shortly after, my local dealer contacted me and offered me a great deal on a used 24-70 2.8L Canon. I went and looked at the used lens, and considered the deal carefully. The seller was the test shots. I setup my camera with my Sigma and fired a couple of tests while in the store. Then I mounted the Canon L glass and fired the same series.

In short, when I looked at the results that afternoon, I was instantly bitten by the L Flu. The color and detail of the shots from the L lens were clearly better than the Sigma, even to my somewhat novice eyes. I made the deal, and will never look back.

Cheers!
