20D Owners...Please "Hook a brother UP"

I received my 20D yesterday which was the replacement for the stolen gear from last week. Today I had my first shoot, and while a bit different from the Rebel, we made it through OK.

Then I got home....THAT is where I am having some trouble...

I saved the images from the flash cards as I always have, with a card reader. I placed them in a folder on my PC, yet when I try and open in Photoshop, they are not there....the folders say 0 files. I can see the images in the folder with another viewer AND they open just fine in the software that came with the camera, but they will NOT open in PS....what am I missing? The files are CR2 files...am I to do something with PS to be able to edit them?? I am at a loss here...If anyone can help, I would appreciate it....

What version of PS are you using?

You have the camera set for RAW images. Photoshop cannot open that file format. IF you have Photoshop CS, go to the following link:

Camera Raw 2.4 Update

This will update your Photoshop CS to understand the RAW file format from a 20D.

You can change the setting under the Quality setting after you bring up the Menu.
