Actually, I like this image, the only concern would be what would the image be used for? In my opinion it could make a great stock, lifestyle image because the subject is "interested" in something by the look in her eyes and the environment.

Second, the "warm light" is great, adds mood and intimacy to the image along with the contrast the light and the model's yellow shirt give to the blue sky. Opposite colors, warm vs cool, normally make great combinations too.

Finally, you have leading lines caused by the backstop/fence itself, that is a great way to compose an image, leading the viewer into the subject. Overall, this is a great image in my opinion. Thanks for sharing, rg sends!

I think the shot works well. There might be a smalll problem with the pipe that seems to grow out of her head, but due to good dof on this, it does not form a major distraction. The patterns work well and make for a very interesting shot that has specialized appeal. Here is an example of one I did with a similar idea:



I got lots of critiques on it and most liked the non-shadow one better. But again, for the right audience, the pattern shot has great potential. The model is Natalie Beth.
