New Background Ideas?

Below is a photo from a new model who wants this photo with a dark background.. I'm looking for suggestions before I spin tons of cycles in photoshop.

I am not sure of what your looking for in a answer. Do you mean shooting the pose again or doing a fast and dirty thing in photoshop ?

Realy looking for ways to change the background of the existing photo.. Keep the model (w/some retouching), switch out the bed frame and white background with something darker.

..and yes.. this would need to be done in photoshop.

Ideas?

Is there a darker background you're going to insert into it, or you really just want to darken the existing one?

I was planning using a photoshop layer (or layers) to create a dark background like a black satin or silk backdrop.

I think that is the best way to go abot doing it. If you do it with an adjustment layer you should be able to change the background.

Thanks.. understand the technical aspects of how to make the change. I'm really looking for help on the creative side.

I would take the time to cut her out and place her on the new background. You can cut her out with selection tools, quickMask, the pen tool, or a combination of all of those tools.
