I made some adjustments to a hi-key image I shot some time ago. Tried converting to B&W and adding some soft focus.

Comments and suggestions welcome as always.

Pretty girl... The floating hand and all that white space at the right kinda detract from her IMHO. Tried a closer crop?

The floating hand
yeah, I didn't notice that, I just saw a white empty space. I don't mind that white space, I think it works, but now that I've seen the hand I can't help looking at it.

Thanks for the comment.

Yes the hand bothered me a bit too. I don't really want to crop it or clone it out because I like the composiion as is.
Ideally I would not have cropped her fingers, but there is not a lot I can do about that now.
In particular I don't like the way the hand appears to be floating. Her arm was a little more visible in the original (below)

So I have done some more work on the image to bring the arm out a little more in the conversion. I know that the hand does divert some attention from her face, but I am okay with that, I think.
Anyway, here is the image with a bit more work. The change is only subtle, but I am happier. - Thanks again for the comment.

Well... I didn't notice the hand either (in the first image posted) , but it is there for sure. At first I thought it was part of the background. I believe removing it would really take this image to a higher level, and not compromise it at all, and would be easy to do.
