First one is how it was shot with the camera and the second is a tight crop.
No blurring or skin smoothing techniques. Only tool used was the healing brush
with some contrast, brightness and sharpen.

To me, your image has a strong feeling of a classical portrait painting (not your image's crispness, but the muted palette of color) and a wonderful calmness. Love that model's eye color.

In image #1, her hands, forearms, and jewelry so dominate the frame that her face, more importantly her eyes, take a backseat to all that other stuff. Was that your intent?
