New Portfolio - Your Thoughts Are Welcomed :::

Hi gang, I'm in the process of rebuilding my online portfolio. Would love for you to swing by and check it out. Lemme' know what you think. I'll be adding a lot of Penthouse stuff as soon as it's been published. We recently shot the January & February 2008 Penthouse Magazine Covers as well as the January, February and March Centerfold layouts. We've got more great stuff coming up in the new year - it's gonna be an exciting year for us

Here's my portfolio: www.deancapture.com

All comments are welcomed!

All I can say is HOLY SH*T! I'd love to produce photos like yours but I became instantly dumbfounded by the amount of equipment you had to produce them. I guess it's back to photographing flowers with my macro lens.

I do have a new studio (moving in tomorrow) but it's small and I don't have tons of equipment or room to play. It's a mere 700 sq. ft (25x28) but it does have beautiful French windows (big ones) on two of the walls. I'll have to start small and work up I guess!

If you have any kind words of advice, feel free to email me at photoman@mikelarsenstudios.com. I'm always all ears for new ideas and strategies and advice!

Good day sir!

Mike

Mike, I always carry more stuff then I'll ever use. I never know what kind of situation I'll be shooting in so I just have to be as prepared as I can for whatever awaits me. Also, keep in mind that I have three assistants that work with me on my shoots. I've had the same crew for about two years now and I would not be able to do the things that I do without them. If it were only me, I'd carry two lights, my camera and my laptop and the end result would be much different then what you see on my site

Feel free to contact me anytime via my website if I can help you in any way!

Great shots !!

Great equipment !!

Great models !!

I really think that there is a common theme here. Yep, GREAT !

Thanks especially for the behind the scene shots, it really helps me understand what it takes to get such wonderful photos. Please keep sharing your setups and placements, it is very interesting to see all of that.

Thanks for sharing your incite with us and I suspect that with two lights a camera and a laptop your results would still be amazing.
