I have attened Dean's workshop and he's right, it is a team effort between he and his assistants. You'd be surprised at how little talking takes place between them since they already seemt to know what Dean's thinking.

That being said, there is no substitiute for the artistic eye Dean uses to shoot these models. Yes, they are very pretty in person but wow, does he ever make them pop in the camera! I own much of the same camera gear and no, my shots would not come out as well as Dean's does. I believe the difference is called talent!

If you get a chance to attend his workshop, do it. No, I'm not getting paid to type this, I really feel I walked away a better shooter after attending his workshop.

These are some great shots, the link to your site was good to have. The behind the camera stuff was cool, to see all the gear you bring along. I also seen you where shooting video at the same time which seemed to add to the whole setup. I am also a skype user now for years and use it for training and Webex's, along with agood webex site and thats all you need well almost (internet) I will look on your site for training dates and hope to chat soon....

Thanks for sharing your work. Like the others who have commented here i''d like to say your behind the scenes shots are very interesting to study. I hope to attend one of your workshops one day.

That's pretty much what I carry, altho it's usually three lights, not two... and a couple of reflectors. And yeah, it's just me.

I just looked at your new web site and in my opinion I wouldn't change a thing. You are an incredible photographer and I only wish I had half your talent. Do you need a flunky? I'll fetch your coffee for you. Oh wait, I'll bet you already have 6 or 8 guys to do that so I guess I am just out of luck.
