I've never heard of Italian style lighting, or french style lighting, etc. You usually hear about a person's name style of lighting. As far as I can tell, this shot could be made with two lights. I don't care for the lighting style because it casts a second shadow and that is distracting. The key light appears to be high and in front of the model and the other light off to the left side of the shot as viewed. It is course possible that there are two lights on the background also (one on each side) and that would give you the 4 lights.
cheers,
Roger

i'm from an italian-american family, so your title grabbed my attention. since you live in europe, i'm guessing "italian-style lighting" might be a term some euro-shooters use to describe a basic lighting style that many italian fashion shooters are fond of using. just a guess. either that or the shooter used pizzas as reflectors.

But that leads to the next question....Chicago deep dish, or New York thin crust? Inquiring minds want to know, so that we can rush out and duplicate this shot.

Im thinking deep dish acts like a beauty dish. "Can I have a Mola Deep Dish with pepperoni please?"

Thin crust is like bounce card with some red, marinara-colored, gel.

I don't know if it's Itialian or not but it's used a lot by fashion houses for catalogs.

Not fashion but four lights used.
