New Model by new photographer

I submitted some pics in a different thread and forgot to mention she was a (hopefull) model. Any comments on her would be appreciated as I will pass them along to her. Also please critique my image.

Do I think you've got a model here? Yes, I do! You did a pretty good job of lighting her face, but, it looks like you were in tight with a normal or wide angle lens. Try stepping back a little and getting in close with a telephoto lens, 85 to 100mm, (35mm film range, or equivalent in your dgital camera of choice.) Lift her chin, and have her look a little more into the camera, and you've got a winner. JMHO!
