I almost like this shot. How do I improve it?

I almost like this shot. I like the pose and the appearance of the body, but it is missing something beyond that. I was trying something totally different with this. I have been doing a lot of surrounding the model with lights lately but on this image (which was thrown together pretty quickly. She needed some images of her hands and while we were in the studio and I saw this outfit I had to shoot it as well) it is just a white background that I was intentionally letting go grey. I had a Photoflex large softbox and a 60" umbrella for lighting and that was it.
No need to be gentle or nice. As always, I am just trying to develop some skill.
