Boycott Ended

Thanks Everyone for the great tips...you all give us so much to work on!
I came across these three images...would you all mind giving me your impressions of the expressions and what they convey, if anything.
I hate being a pest, but its the only way to learn...Squeaky Wheel theory.

The first one is pretty good.

The second one is funny as heck!! I was on the phone with Zairia when I saw it and just started laughing. Love the undies around the ankles!! Great idea!

The third one is very sexy, great expression. Wonderful lighting on her behind!!

The first one I like.
very alluring, good sort of come hither type I think. that or she's a little bit mad.
Second one to me is a bit campy.
Third one, something about her face says she's uncomfortable to me.

I like the first because her expression and eyes captured my attention and forced me to spend more time looking at her.

Number 2 reminds me of the pin-up illustrations from the 50's and 60's, the facial expression, pose and body language...cute [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

The first image is the best in my opinion...what it says to me is "You want some of this big boy?" Hope you don't take it the wrong way...this is from my photographer's eye viewpoint. I also reviewed your wife's ( I assume) portfolio and most of what i saw there conveyed some very sexy expressions, in addition to her body attributes. I wish I had one model who could communicate the way she does. Really good stuff. Only critique I would add is maybe you ahd a touch too much hair light in #1, and not enough light on her face in #3.

On a second point, I viewed your web page and based on the images that I've seen you light and shoot you are giving your work away. Not sure what your competition is, but I think that you have undervalued your work.

If you guys ever get to Tampa, FL, I'd love to have you in my in home studio. Keep up the good stuff.

Thank you very much Mcpo..I truly wish I could say Im undervalued, but where we live the market sucks, I had people banging down my door when I was shooting for free....now that I charge a very minimal fee, no one is interested. Could be my marketing abilities REEK!! who knows. but we are sticking with it..if not for some extra pocket change, just the enjoyment of the art. Thank you very much for you compliments.

Wow!, now that's a great image.....it makes me want to see more....a hint of the red hair, the body, the overall color....that's good stuff. Is there any market for Dee in your area....her modeling skills.....since you described the poor response you have gotten at your rock bottom rates....

Sorry, but 2 did not work for me. To much going on. I think the same look and pose, perhaps without the panties might work. And DeAnn's hair down. It looks like you were going for office exec look, but to me, at least, it missed the mark.
3) says, hmmm, what does 3 say? Ah yes "Mmmmmm" [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
look like 3 says, "Your're still waiting???"
Probably one of the nicest, and natural facial expressions I've seen on DeAnn.
