Cool shot, Bobby.. looks like you've gotten a bit of learnin' down, already!

From my viewpoint, you've got a couple of things that detract from the overall effect.... her pretty face is hidden a bit too much by the hair at her cheeks and down to her chin. Plus, the backlight is a tad too hot for my taste... blows out her hair, but more importantly her right arm goes detail free as well. Her pose is good, but could be stronger if she had dropped her left shoulder a bit and leaned into the frame a bit more.

All in all, though, a very pretty image!

Thanks for the input Wayne. I have to agree about the hairlight being to hot, it was one of those hey let me try something type of things. I'll try and work on the things you've touched on. Again thanks for your help and great pic you have there by the way

I just wanted to say that I really love this image you posted! The light just seems to wrap around her and embrace her. It's so very appealing! The lighting looks pretty straight forward but just to satisfy my curiousity, how did you light her? Did you use a large soft box or a light panel?

The front light was from a large softbox to the camera right.
