I was play with this image and tried to give it a 70's Playboyish type of look. Let me know if it works. Thanks in advance.

i might be wrong cuz i was having too much fun back then to remember much, but i don't remember playboy looking like that. your image looks, IMO, more contemporary. i remember playboy looking more like these:

Those images don't look very 70's to me, too much plastic in those women....

I was talking more in terms of the coloring of the photo, I wanted a vintage look.

you just wanted to show off that exquisite wife of yours and make us all feel bad!!
And I do!
I'm feeling depressed.
I think I'll cry.
Just curl up in the corner and. . . and. . .
suck my thumb.

If you're speaking strictly of coloring, then I'm not clear what to judge by. As I recall, Playboy's work in the 70's was primarily these tack-sharp images of women in ornate sets. Jimmyd's images are good - although the women are too warmly toned.

Insofar as I can judge, your coloring is OK - but that seems to be the least characteristic feature. I mean, coloring itself doesn't suggest "70's Playboy."

Do you mean coloring as in the coordination of the clothing?

Lovely, sensuous photo, btw. Seems a bit soft to me, though.

The image didn't seem to have the right feel, that is what I wanted to know. Here is a link for all of the people that want to take a look at the covers of the past.

Playboy covers

Thanks again for all of the replies.
