B&W Lingerie, Thoughts?

I took this image in color but it didn't turn out just as I wanted, so I tried it in B&W. What do I need to change? Thanks in advance.

What I like seeing with this type of outfit is things that go along with it's theme. Like soft cumfy beds, big fluffy quilts or comforters. Flowers are good too.
Me being so new I have no pro advice. I just have what I like to see. What makes me like or not like a pic.

Let me turn the question around, 'what are you not happy with here?'.

Each of us has certain concepts that we work with. They are 'our guidelines'. I don't kinow what yours are but I know mine. The model is in the middle of a great expanse of white but she is in lingerie. Does that make sense? Perhaps if it was a catalogue image but in all other glamour concepts, she should be in an environment that works with the 'mood' of lingerie. I could appreciate her totally nude in that pose more than in lingerie. Especially if in b&w. Hope I am making sense here. Your model has beauty, style and grace, carry all of that into an image that maximizes that. IMHO.

I don't know if this will help. But I forgot to mention this.
The thing I like about victoria's secret's catalog, is they usually show the outfit in a scene. You see how the outfit fits with furniture and other things in the pic. It's like it gives the picture of the female in the outfit a purpose? I hope that makes some kind of sense [img]/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I like it, I dont really see anything wrong with what you shot or the decision to change it to B&W.

Thanks for the thoughts Stu. I don't like posting images that I'm not that happy with but here is one of the original images. I wasn't happy with the white balance and tried adjusting it, but couldn't get anything that I liked.

Her left arm seems to disappear into the background. There was a thread on doing high key a while back and people said something if the white background is to hot you get wrap around glow or something. I don't know.

I like the image. I amazed at your model every time I see her.
