I'd be happier if the post was a little more vertical and the siding were more horizontal. It bothers me because it's only slightly off. Either more or less tilt. Otherwise, I likey.

I agree that the hands are a problem. If you look at just the design elements you have a strong veryical line (the post). That line is broken by the hands and especially the open fingers of the right hand. All of this activity is exactly on the same level as her face and as such competes with her face for attention. IMHO.

i agree about the left hand (as already mentioned). maybe if it was wrapped around the post the other way? contrast seems a little flat and the image could be sharpened a bit. some levels or curves adjustment would also bring the color out, which you might consider saturating some. as mentioned, if you plummed that post it would probly improve the pic. certainly, a canted image (as in what's called a "dutch angle) can have great impact, but in this case, there's not enough "dutch" in the angle, so it doesn't qualify as such; so i also vote for some leveling.

i also think a tighter crop would work well. its not just that she's cropped at the knees (which she is and is a violation of photographer's rule number, uhh, i forget which number that rule is), but cropping tighter would bring the model foward and direct more attention to her.

When I look at the shot I see the S curve the body and hands/arms make. The shot is crisp, clean, and it capture the viewers attention (at least mine). The model has a great look and her eyes pop! Is she a local Atlanta model?
