ok...not glamorous or sexy!

I was bored and decided to pull out my old Nikon D70 this morning and try it out with some glass that I didn't own the last time I used this camera. It actually hasn't been used in over 2 years since purchasing my D200. I mounted my Nikon 105 2.8 macro VR and went outside to shoot some non babe pics...I know, what the hell was i thinking!! Out by the hummingbird feeder was a bunch of bee's having a drink. I was right on top of them and wasn't having any issues from them, when I suddenly heard a much bigger buzz, and thought the mother of all bee's had arrived, when this fearless lil dude flew right into my frame. I only managed one or two sharp frames, cuz the old camera started hunting on me...making me wish like hell i had the D200!

Great shot. When I have tried to shoot hummingbirds, I have always had to use a tripod and remote, as they would not approach the feeder if I was near it. Again, great image and colors. best wishes, gus
