Back to the Beach...

Just returned from teaching at the SuperShoots Back to the Beach event in Michigan City Indiana and wanted to share a few images....







I literally had 5 minutes to get this last shot before the clouds moved away from the sun. I had to run up this tall dune and place a strobe to the models right...then run back down the hill to get the shot...I didn't catch her foot getting lost in the foreground sand...but I like it anyways....

Excellent as always. Do you ever teach in the south east?

In keeping with the Olympic spirit:

photo #1 - 8.5 (the high and low are tossed out and the rest averaged)
photo #2 - 9.5 (gold medal performance)
photo #3 - 8.0 (solid artistic scores, the Russian judge knocked you for tech merit)

All in all an outstanding job and the crowd gave a standing ovation!

We will be in Tampa Bay in November then back to Tennessee in April or May of 09...
