RFS passes

Missed seeing his critiques on here for a while and now I see why. Certainly a good contributor to glamour1 and helpful to some of the other photographers who were learning from his comments.

Taken way too early and way to young! He will be missed by many if his contributions here on G! are any indication of how he lived his life.

I truly regret, I did not get to know him better via our internet connection. I too am a professional amateur magician and we would have had even more to talk about.

I was very sorry to hear about Roger's passing. He was always quick to share his knowledge of photography and photoshop with us beginners. I'll miss seeing his posting here at G1. Rest in peace Roger.

Wow, this is really terrible news. RFS was always an awesome source of information, and more than once, a calm voice for even somebody like me. He will be missed greatly.

I'm sorry to hear about his passing. I've enjoyed viewing his work on G1 and ShotCritic. And I've picked up quite a few good ideas from reading his posts.

My heart felt condolances go out to his friends and family.

I feel like I knew Roger because of all his support through GI (and Shot Critic). (Shot Critic certainly wasn't the same when he stopped posting.) I feel a big loss and I did not even know him or could pick him out in the crowd.

I am stunned, simply stunned. I found out a few weeks ago that he wasn't doing well but I didn't have any of the details.

I agree that he was taken too young and he will be dearly missed by everyone. My very best wishes go out to his family. He truly was one of the greats.
