I haven't seen R Fredrick Smith, a moderator, on this forum for a long time. I always found his posts helpful and informative. Does anyone know what has happened to RFS?
Thanks for your reply. I am a Charter Member of Shot Critic but when I tried to log in and access that area I was told that "I Don't Have Sufficient Permissions To View That Information". I guess I must be a shunned member of the great unwashed or something like that.

HIS POST IS AS FOLLOWS:
Just wanted to let everyone know that I've spent the last few weeks (21 days) in the hospital and thus haven't been able to post to the board. Only the grace of God has allowed me to survive ( I was unconscious most of the time). I want to get active again, but I'll have to go through considerable physical therapy first. No new photos of course during that time. Hope you've all been doing okay.
RG, I'm hoping to use some of your Photo therapy ideas to help. Hope that book is still in the works.

Same with me, Although I made a donation shortly after the site opened, it appears to be a VIP member you must "donate" at least $5.00 per month.
I agree, RFS is very open to sharing his knowledge (and images) here and I have certainly learned from him. If I were to have a gripe at all it would be that the info is only available (as far as I know) through the threads. What I would really like is to have that information gathered together in PDF format that I could download and squirrel away for those instances I run into problems. I wonder if Rolando and company have thougtht of that for not only RFS's lessons but for all the items stored here?

I like that idea. There are a number of very experienced folks who post snippets of really useful info. Maybe there could be a few "mentor" threads/blogs, where these people could post "lessons" or advice or whatever. Probably best if those threads didn't allow for replies, so it's just the mentor's material.
