Thanks for the link to the video. Pretty neat to get to see the "behind the scenes" aspect of the shoot.

Seems like a risky shot. You would normally want the model as well as photographer and assistants wearing protective eyewear. When a screen implodes pieces of the glass can fly all over the place and bounce off other things.

But it all seemed to work out well. Here is an out take from a breaking session from many years ago.

Enjoyed the video! Out of curiosity, what was the backup plan if you had clicked the shutter too early? Did you have more TVs waiting to be smashed? Also, what is MavTV?

I took a lot of shots before the ssmashing moment of her posing with the tv. If I needed to use one of those I could have. Also, the backup plan was Photoshop...lol

Yes, that Jodie. Haven't seen her for a long time either. I think she was at a pool shoot that Mike Wallace had in the same time frame as we did the breaking shots. That was when he still had a warehouse studio over in Fort Worth and we had lined up a bunch of old monitors and computers for destruction. I can recall that Tammy Winters was at the shoot that day.
