Bob Carlos Clarke photography

Is anyone familiar with the work of Bob Carlos Clarke? His work is beautiful (well, I think so anyway!) You can see his work on his official website, here are a few examples:

Clarke is a great photographer and even a more interesting person. His reasons and philosophy for doing Glamour work is a very interesting read.

I'd be interested to know his reasons for doing glamour photography maxposure - I know he studied at the RCA and apparently got into photography because he fancied the woman who he eventually married and wanted a way to get her attention so he asked if he could photograph her!

here is the image. This little jpeg does not do it justice. I find so many things about this image that are technically and artistically awesome. I would buy a print if I could.



I'm drawn to images portraying women in a powerfull manner. I think this image is really a great representation of a super hero action figure. Her skin looks almost plastic, her pose is animated and strong, she has no nipples that you can see (wether PP'ed out or otherwise, I can't see them), her outfit is plastic (other than the thong), the subtle lighting in the background of red and blue looks very "good vs evil" to me.

I don't know, maybe I sound like I'm babbling on, but I find everything works in this image.
