The latest...

Messed around with a few things last night... what do you guys think? The model is my friend Heather.

*EDIT I went back and tried to make the images a little less flat... are these any better?

Re: The latest...

I think the first has the most potential, but needs an area in focus - like her shoes. (Or, alternately, and equally probable, my eyes are just totally out of wack.) All seem a bit flat for my taste. Congrats on trying some creative work, though. Good idea, IMO - but needs more work.

Re: The latest...

They're just a bit too flat for my taste for B&W. There really is no crisp "punch" to those. No range of gray tones.

Re: The latest...

It's in the processing of the image and working with the tones and curves. All I'm providing Saturday is cookies and milk.

Re: The latest...

I agree - the revised images are better. Still think the first (now last) is the best, but it still needs a sharply focussed area. Much better, though.
