Suggestion: Fix the time zone offset in the new portfolio system

I just uploaded an image to the new portfolio system. It said "12-04-2006 05:17 PM", but my current time in Hawaii (GMT-10) is 7:17 AM. This indicates that the time zone offset in the portfolio system is GMT 0.
It'd be meaningful to set the portfolio system's time zone offset to match the Glamour1 locale and/or setup the portfolio system to use the member's time zone offset.

I just looked at my latest upload at:

http://www.glamour1.com/photoplog/index.php?n=1866

and the time is exactly when I uploaded it here in Texas. Of course, Texas is the center of the Universe, and perhaps the G1 system is biased in that direction.

What do you have your time zone set to under My Home | Edit User Options (its the last option under that dialog)?

Also, take a look at the little box that appears when you are on many of the main pages (its in the upper right corner) that looks like this:



Is the time pointed to be the red arrow correct for you? It is for me at my location.

R_Frederick_Smith, you are correct.

The red arrow indicates my correct local time (GMT-10). The problem indeed was due to Options > Date & Time Options, which was set to the default GMT. I changed it to GMT-10 and everything is now ok.

My silly mistake, especially since I'm kindof a geek and should know better. Thanks, R_Frederick_Smith
