Anybody good with older models?

Hello. Just curious if anybody has a few images of work they have done with models who are older than 20 something.

I am interested in locating and commisioning a photographer to shoot with my wife of 20 years. Currently I have been examining many of the portfolios here on this very informative site. There are many talented people active on here. So far it has been most helpful.

That said, for obvious reasons the vast majority of examples feature professsional and/or aspiring models. I am curious if anybody has examples of good work they have done with private clients older than 30 years.

My wife actually was a swimsuit model fifteen years ago and still manages to keep her shape at 5'-8" and 118 lbs. She is still breathtaking and I want it captured on film (or in pixels)

I've shot plenty of female priavte clients that aren't your average 20 something model, but since they are clients, I will never show the images to anyone other than the women themselves.

If the photographer is good and has plenty of imagery that showcases women made to look beautiful, chances are he/she can capture your wife's beauty.

Yeah, I do. The youngest model that I've worked with was 29. My norm is from about 30 - 35.

Perhaps I am looking to see if anyone has demonstrated an interest in that respect. Results usually reflect interest as much as talent in any endeavour.

I shoot with beautiful people of all ages, private commissions offer the op to create beautiful work that commercial work wouldn't. They say eventually with age beauty simply transitions from the outside to the inside.

You can try using the http://www.glamour1.com/search/search.php function for photographers in your area.

If the photographer you choose is a good photogrpaher then you will get good images. Try selecting a photographer whose style is similar in taste to those of you and your wife.

...I just pitch 'um out when they go over the hill. It is true that I'm currently working with a model who is almost seventeen years old, but she's so exceptional I've been willing to ignore her advanced years.

This model is a little older than 17, but she's so beautiful even I couldn't screw this up!

In truth, any good photographer should be able to help you out, just make sure they have a good team around them (makeup, hair, styling) and have appropriate lighting equipment. These things will also help your wife feel more comfortable about any photo shoot. While it is true I have my own preferences, like most professionals if there are enough zeros to the left of the decimal point you will be stunned at how enthusiastic we can be about almost any project!
