Hey all,
I may not be a great glamour photographer just yet, but I am a great photojournalist. I also am a loving father who has been accused of being over-protective. However when mothers say it's ok or do it again I always felt, "Mothers know best". To my dismay they do not!
Let me explain. I went to the bride's home for the wedding on 28th October for knowledge of layout and lighting (Yes, I am still nervous about the wedding). Afterwards I went to California state park in California, OH to do some family images because they were so good. My wife and daughter played in the leaves and I photographed up to the last leaf being brushed off my wife by my daughter. Then Raven went and jumped on a 45 degree cut post and said look at me. My wife said, oh that looked so good. Do it again so your daddy can get an image of you for our wall. (Mistake, my gut said no, but, Mothers Know Best…Right.) Not wanting to tell my wife no. I prepared for the shot, focus on the stump, correct f / ss and wait for the moment.
My daughter went up............My daughter came down..........Mother/Daughter Pity party over her knee.......
However,
It still became my entire fault....me and my dumb camera......
We had Ice cream...And after I saw she was really ok. I got into even more trouble because....."I could not stop laughing"
Enjoy the images...I already paid for them....LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
