Im going to be looking to set up my site soon and thought I'd see if any you you might want to give me a quote. I've got a few Designers local but would rather deal with someone in this field.

Do you do flash intro and flash based sites? I looked at your link--but did not see any. I am interested as well...

No, I don't do flash based sites or intros. The main reasons is that they are can easily be search engine invisible and they often have problems with a significant portion of the site visitors. And, for the most part, they can prove a negative to the photographer as people can say "gee wiz, what a great looking site" and be more impressed by the flash than the photography. I like simple design with easy to use menus, and clearly defined pages of photos.
I do quite a bit of PHP work, however, so if you want photos, banners, etc. to rotate on each visit, then I do that sort of thing. The campground site that I link to illustrated this sort of thing (refresh each page while looking at the graphics, ads, etc).
Keep in mind that I always have a major focus of making the site search engine friendly and developing it so it will show up on the first page of the search engines.

Just a thought, PDN has a list of top websites. They list who designed them as well, so just call and ask about. Although I'm sure if they were bookmarked they are getting a ton of new business.
