STS-115 ..Sitting on GO!
It is the nature of the beast ..... the most complicated flying machine ever invented! So no mission is a given but I can tell you that the show is worth the wait.

The 2 posted shots were taken with a 70-200 mm . I had a 400 hundred but it was too tight. We were about a mile away from the pad with the water shot and about 500 or so yards from the pad on the close up shot!

Tomorrow ... 3 1/2 miles from the launch pad .... 400mm is the longest I have. The launch looks good tight ,,,, it looks good wide!!! Cannot beat the show!!!!!!!

I think that the launch pass can get the public to about 7 miles so your vantage point is something I will really look forward to seeing. Next time can you get me an invite too?..
