Smile Question for the Forum

I have a question. I have done a lot of journalism and weddings and am curious as to how one gets into the business of 'glamour' and 'fashion' without advertising and searching for models without sounding like a person just out there looking to get 'peep' shows if you understand what I mean. On MSNBC recently, D. Deutsche aired a scam/special about photographers luring young models in and doing inappropriate things and I am affraid that people/models out there are leary of entering into the unknown. Any advice or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Jason

Re: Question for the Forum

It's a very simple process. Honesty will get you there. Start asking photogenic family or friend related subjects to photograph in their comfort zone that will lend itself to some type of glamour orientated style. Start building your book that way. Expand from there.

It's a shame that we as legitimate photographers get picked on because of the hype the media portrays photographers in general.

You are professional so stay that way and in time things will evolve for you.
