I use Dreamhost as my webhost. I run about 6 websites and have been with them since 2004 and they keep increasing my service and decreasing my costs.

And they have an open policy concerning content on their servers, so you don't have to worry about hosting nudes if that is an issue.

My host server is directnic.com If you register or purchase your domain name with them they will host you free, but will have their banners on your site. To have have bannerless it only cost you $15.00 anually, still a good deal.They allow 100 megabytes of space. I have been with them for five years and had good support when I needed it and that's not to often. Had a major scare when Katrina huricane came trashing through New Orleans last year and this cmpany is based in New Orleans, They have backed up their servers with electricity generated form their own diesel driven generators, Additionally they maintained a blog site to advise their subscribers. They also claim that 5% of all internet commerce runs through them so they had no choice but to support it or face the consequences. If a company goes to this extent I want to a aboard.

I use godaddy.com. can't beat their prices and also if u register atleast one domain name at the same time you save a bundle.

Tell ya who not to use!
1&1.com, they use bait and switch tactics, total waste of my money and time, now I have to wait until my contract runs out.
