Peter Gowland - birthday today

Just a quick note who may not have gone back to read the Gowland thread after I posted the note about his birthday. I got an email from him this morning telling me his inbox has been inundated with greetings, so I guess I was right, he does have a lot of fans who remember him out there! I'll repost my original message here for those who didn't go back or missed it and may want to send him a note: <br>

Not only do I remember Peter (and his great wife Alice) I still talk to them on occasion (most recently last Xmas). Of course if you know my work, you see Peter's influence all over it, and yes, he has a phenominal website at [urlhttp://www.petergowland.com[/url]. He and Alice were also instrumental in my taking over the Ridgid Tool calendar account when he decided to resign from it six years ago (there's a whole section on it on the website).<br>
Monday April 3 is Peter's 90th birthday! If you feel like sending him a birthday greeting, send it to petergowland@petergowland.com or mail it to the address on his website. He is still sharp and active, builds his cameras, and loves to tell stories about the good old days. When I visit I always try to bring a pretty girl with me (Alice doesn't even get jealous) 'cause that's what he lives for! (Sound familiar?)<br>

Tell me if I'm wrong on this.
As I understand it Alice used to birddog a lot of his models and then was there for many of the shoots. Talk about a joined at the hip pair. I really think much of his work should carry a Peter/Alice Gowland signature.
How many of us wishes we had an understanding spouse. Alice not only understood it, she could explain it. Way
