Which do you prefer?

I wander back and forth on this image of Mackenzie. Normally I see an image and I can say yes color or no duotone (b&w) is better. The trick is I bought Fred Miranda B&w plug-in for PS and the options for tonal changes are almost endless so now I well experiment more than I used to. Do you like either or neither?

I would normally go with color, but this time the B&W looks really good. Hard choice, though.

I can say in a heartbeat that I like the toned version. It suits the model... I'm getting that woodcut impression on this one too, I think it's the model and her hairstyle. Maybe I've just looked at too many Dover art books. I'm a big Alphonse Mucha fan too and she fits that style.

Well my friend, I dont think this is gonna answer your question but I dont really care for either. It is a difficult thing, but in all honesty you are one of the photogs here that inspire me to improve my work. This shot when I look at it does not measure up to what I am used to from you.

On another note, I wish you would post more (images) like you used to...

As much as I prefer B&W, I think this one works better in color. I'm looking at the model's hair and dress and it gets more of my attention in the color version.

One of those "Which is better, diamonds or platinum" deals here, Cuz. And I think I'm about to surprise you (being the lover of b/w that I am) in going with the color image. Both are great though.

You know I loves my black and white but with the print on that dress I'd say color...and it's probably just my tired old eyes but I'd pop it a little harder if it were me.
