Sold my first print!
 

Due to the content of the image, I am not embedding it. Fair warning: the image is NOT kid nor work safe. The actual image is here.

Due to a lot of controversy about this image content and it being posted in "public" areas of PBase, a friend of ours coaxed us into submitting the image for consideration in The Dirty Show in Detroit, MI. The image was accepted and we had a limited-printed done at 12" x 18", matted and framed in a 16" x 20" frame.

I received notice today, that the image sold on day 3 of the exhibition. Thanks to all the GG members that supported anti-censorship on PBase.com.

Congratulations on the sale. There's a lot of meaning when some stranger is willing to part with their hard earned money for your work.

It's a strong image graphically. And the graphic subject matter is sure to offend some people. To me it is hardly pornographic because its intent is not to stimulate.

Although I like the image, the "five O'clock shadow" bothers me a little, tiny bit.

congrats on your success at the Dirty Show.

I was approached to take part in it a couple of months ago, but I had all kinds of stuff going on and couldn't get all my ducks in a row.

It would of been nice to take part in it with you. AND YOU SOLD YOUR FIRST PRINT...

I just heard that I sold my first print at that show as well. I don't have a copy of the image online right now, but there's a thumb here . Good Stuff!

Very well done, congrats on the sale.
I normally like something like this in B&W, but the abstract look to it and shadows are wonderfull.

Congratulations on the sale. It's a good image, and somewhat sad that it rates such restrictions. Ah, well.
