Elizabeth Anne

Does this look better in color or B/W? All comments welcome.

Re: Elizabeth Anne

I really like b/w images, but I think I like the color better. Brings out the eyes. Just my $.02

Re: Elizabeth Anne

It's difficult to say. If the lighting was more contrasty, I'd go with the B&W, but there is enough color that I can't decide. For this type of shot, I would prefer more contrast and more of a full length shot.

I forget how, but I badly overexposed this shot of Kordelia. I wanted to try to salvage it, so I played around with brightness and contrast until I got something that I liked. Even so, increasing the contrast doesn't make contrasty light.

Re: Elizabeth Anne

Thanks for the input. I actually had Elizabeth Anne snarl at me for this. I wanted the teeth bared.

Re: Elizabeth Anne

Thats one of the reasons I can't decide which one I like better. Any ideas on how to make smoke rise from the cigerette more?

Re: Elizabeth Anne

As posted, your conversion causes her chin, neck, and cheek skin to become too flat. Hence, the color image is better.

Just my opinion, of course.

I rather like this model's looks. Nice job on your part, too.

Thanks for sharing.

Re: Elizabeth Anne

my choice would be the color. In b&w, face is a wash. you have some great color in the first. the make-up,hair, and background are real vivid. I would just darken abit and saturate the color a little to give it a bit more BAM!
I like the Idea!
