These look great too. Now to get you out of your comfort zone a little, how about only lit by candle light. You know the soft orange glow. Maybe an old keroscene lantern.

#2 does it for me. Really nice. #1 looks a little to forced. 2 is nice and natural.

Feedback from the Left Coast....#2 does it for me too. But then just about anything she does, does it for me. But, that doesn't mean she's right (DeAnn, look to the Dark Side).

# 2 is very nice.

Now try this, do the same pose, swing the hair over to the other side to fill in the space on that side, and frame pretty tight on the right side and have her sit straight up a bit more and lean into the frame.

For more info on portrait and posing stuff, there is an excellent website by famed photographer Monte Zucker, http://forum.montezucker.com/index that has some really cool posing and lighting diagrams for this type of work.

But bottom line is I love to see DeAnn smiling in pictures, she does that so well and looks so natural when you shoot her having a great time in front of the camera.
