I believe I posted some images from this relatively new model, Dalene Costley before, but here are a few more from our shoot late last year that I thought were keepers...
All shot with natural light, both indoor and outdoor, no hand-held man-made reflectors (only natural ones) shot with Canon 10d and Canon lenses.
You know it's a good day when you see a new post from Andy!
Great work! Your mastery of natural light is humbling. Too bad in Michigan we have 6+ months of grey skies and cold weather. (maybe if we didn't I'd be as good as you! Ha!)
When are you going to put out a book or instructional DVD or a seminar? Sign me up, the check's already in the mail.
I'm not sure what impresses me more, the quality of the looks that came out of this young lady, or that you did this all with natural light. As someone who is a long way from conquering lighting techniques I always find it humbling when shots of this quality are done au naturel.
One goofy question...how do you get the sand to stay on in the last pic? Is it water, or do you use some type of spray adhesive.
This is one of those girls who never answered my attempts to shoot with her. I see why now.
Why bother with me when she can do such fantastic work with you. This is absolutely the best I've seen of her. Way to go!
Whodaman? Youdaman!
... did you send that check to, brah? I wanna be sure to cash it before you change your mind. And, if you wrote it for the right amount, you might be so lucky as to go on my next beach shoot with me while you 'dem gray skies up there in Meesheegan...
thanks for the nice props... much appreciate you spending time to comment on some silly images of a great lookin' girl!
