small studio space means you need gear to limit as well as modify your light: flags, doors, snoots, grids, foamcore (black & white), that sort of stuff. obvioiusly, it's the inability to get those lights wherever you want them and the reflective ambient (in a small space) that's making it difficult for you. that's why you need "control" gear.
Thank you! The angle required a bit of creative photoshop to deal with the seam where my seamless paper meets my way to short 8 foot celing. But I thought it was worth saving.
The girl gave great tude but better than that had a really great attitude, we are both pretty green and she is open and willing to work and best of all just low stress.
On the equipment. Yeah I know I'm gonna need some more stuff, I figured that. Figured best bet was to use what I have until I realized I hit the wall before just buying a bunch more stuff. Now I see that wall getting closer so time to find the funds to invest in a few more toys. Hopefully find ways to do it a bit on the cheap but only if it is functional.
