I quickly post processed one image from Saturday since Randi was the last model I shot that day and I'm still working on the one I shot Friday night. Just for you Don.

Tiff,,,I think you misunderstood the purpose of the thread..dont get me wrong one of the models I have worked with is one of my favorites and "he" is a workshop model. I have nothing against workshop models, they provide a great opportunity for people to build thier portfolios that they otherwise cant do at home.
Now let me clarify in my most "retarded" abilities.. I posted this thread so that those that dont get the opportunity to go to workshops and work hard at home,finding thier own models and maybe even discovering a new model, could take this opportunity to post thier new found model. Nothing more nothing less.
Why I said "workshop models dont count" is so that this thread woulded be flooded with images of the same model from a workshop, no more no less.
if I offended any workshop models,promoters or mentors, I apologize, however that was not my intention. Just to let the little guy show off a bit, if thats so bad, then cast the first stone!

We have worked at workshops, but that's not all we do.

We are here only for one day to do a workshop... any other time, we are here for Rolando's book. So please don't consider us "workshop" models.

Another thing... we have agencies... we get other work. I'll be moving within a couple months more than likely to NYC. So please respect us, by not referring to us as "workshop" models...

You go to workshops... so are you saying that you can't do that at home then?? People go to workshops to learn, to take in other photographers information, remember it, and further use it for their best ability... to grow and perform better...People who still all the same background and everything else at home, still come to these things... You make it sound as if the only people going to workshops are photographers that don't have access to a studio.. Well.. looks like you have a studio.. you still go to workshops...

Anyhoo..Guess I've said enough.. and sorry for going on and on and on... you just really ticked off us girls here by the things you said the other night and then came back around and put the first post on here stating NOT workshop models..

So I'll leave this blog and try not to type in this one again...

You can learn a lot from workshops if you really set your mind to it... go to Model Mayhem, [censored], Model Locate, here... find some really great, young models to work with... work with them in your studio more than once so they can start to get use to working with you... look at ideas from magazines and use your imagination from there... try different lighting techniques... your stuff is just the same o same o... get a new model for a little while... try to get a girl that you believe has a lot going for her.. not just a young girl that wants to call herself a model. Anyone can do that... Heck!! Go to HOOTERS!! I work there! and ya know... if you go there right now ... let them know you're a photographer... I know at least one or two of those girls will be dying for you to take pictures of them! I work there and our submissions for the calendar have to be in by Feb. 9th... They don't want to pay an arm and a leg to shoot with some photographer.. go in there....tell them you'll do it for free.. or for like $25 a piece... word will get around and more girls will want to work with you for that reason...

No I'm not bashing Deanne... I love Deanne... all I'm saying is... get a new model to work with for a while that is young and dedicated to modeling and will strive for what you're looking for to further your portfolio.. i mean come on.. you can't just have a portfolio of just Deanne... you take that into an agency or anything else, they'll laugh b/c they need a variety of girls and boys.. For instance.. Mike... MrPhotoStudios... I live at his house and all, but he could make an entire portfolio of just me... we've shot together so many times...but now, here I am.. trying to find him new models that I believe have a lot of ability to get bigger and better... I find new girls through work and then found my new best friend, Amanda on Model Mayhem!! she contacted me!!

So.. anyways - I'd like to see you shoot a beautiful, young girl... just casual clothes... not all lingerie and nothing nude... shoot with her a couple more times... and then see how much better your photography gets...
